Hi, I’m Mariel and I’m a freelance illustrator obsessed with animals, fantasy, and virtual pet websites! If you play on said virtual petsites, you may know me as Vixen!
I am the adopted daughter of two actors, which was about as wild of an upbringing as you are imagining. Now I’m here in the rainy PNW drawing pixel pets with my Manager of Cuddles, the fluffy cat Hinode.
I received my BFA with a major in animation and concentration in illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2014.
